It can be hard to find good information about the situation in Ukraine. News media frequently reports quick headlines with little insight or depth.

Here you can find news links from various outlets throughout the world, along with commentary and context. Sites linked to will include UATV English from Ukraine, TVP World from Poland, the United Kingdom's Sky News, NBC News, and others.

Additionally, we will post videos from Ukraine-focused vloggers.

They won't always be "breaking" news, but pieces that give context to the entire war.

The engrossing documentary film "20 Days in Mariupol" is coming off a Sundance win for Best Documentary Audience Selection and is compelling and powerful. 

It's the first feature film by war reporter Mstyslav Chernov. A narrator in the trailer says "This is painful to watch. But it must be painful to watch." Now on PBS, here's a link to the entire production.

Jake is a US Air Force veteran who posts insightful and informative news from Ukraine with great sourcing.

Prof. Michael Clarke on Sky News - one of the best Ukraine analysts anywhere. He is definitely worth searching up.

Anders Puck Nielsen provides informed and factual analysis of the war from several prospectives.

The Daily Show's Jordan Klepper offers up a humorous and insightful look at the way Russian propaganda works.

Anna From Ukraine

Anna vlogs almost daily from Ukraine. She provides news updates and commentary, along with Ukrainian cultural, historical, and language topics.

Ukraine Matters

Georgie brings us excellent and well-researched news from the front with in-depth commentary and analysis which goes beyond headlines.

Professor Gerdes

Professor Gerdes Explains offers insights and updates about topis ranging from front line news to geopolitical commentary. His explanations are informative and easy to follow.

United24 Media

Part of the larger United24 initiative, U24 media provides great information on a variety of topics related to the war, recovery, and rebuilding of Ukraine.

NBC's Richard Engel is probably one of America's best war reporters. Here his "On Assignment" goes behind the curtain to show us how a home-grown resistance movement helped liberate Kherson.

Denis Davydov

Denis is a commercial airline pilot who has taken to YouTube to provide in-depth and well-sourced updates daily.
