-
When Russia invaded Ukraine they occupied Tsyrkuni for 72 days. That was bad enough, but after the village was liberated, it spent months more in artillery range.
-
More than 80 percent of structures were severely damaged or destroyed. People were traumatized, some tortured, some killed.
-
The Russians have been pushed back - and although all of Ukraine is still under threat from air attack, the people seek a sense of normalcy.
-
Children are critical to rebuilding Ukraine - we can help kids emerge from the brutality of the Russian invasion with hope for the future!
From Tragedy, Promise. The Spirit of Ukraine Shines

-
Trained psychologists and teachers will help kids process the terrible events they have witnessed in a safe and supporting environment.
-
Visiting musicians, athletes, and artists will foster engagement.
-
Play and recreation will be centered around letting kids be kids.
-
The center currently cares for about 65 kids. With our help, the expansion will mean they can help over 200.
